New Edition
YCP 5.0 - Connect Edition
Learning Before Solving, Listening Before Designing
The Young Changemakers Programme has always been about stepping outside what we know. For many students, it is their first glimpse into rural India, where they meet people, hear their stories and begin to understand realities they may have never experienced before.
With YCP 5.0: Connect Edition, we are placing a little more emphasis on what comes before the solution: listening.
This edition creates space for meaningful conversations with teachers, Anganwadi workers, farmers, homemakers and others who know their communities best.
Connect means seeing the person behind the problem. The goal is simple: listen first, understand better, and build with people.
Rural Immersion Bootcamp
A Rural Immersion Bootcamp is part of the 5-day offline and residential Young Changemakers Programme, for students of class 9-12. It is designed for future leaders passionate about social work, community development, and those who are driven to create a sustainable and long-lasting impact.
This is paper to reality: understand the challenges by witnessing the hurdles faced by underprivileged communities, develop empathy, and hone your leadership skills as you create innovative solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility: Students in Grades 9–12 with basic English proficiency. Droppers are not eligible.
Supporting Documents: Applicants may be asked to submit documents such as proof of age, identification, or academic records for verification.
Commitment to Social Impact: We’re looking for students who genuinely care about social impact, community service, and making a difference.

Scholarships
We are committed to ensuring that no deserving student is held back by financial constraints. Need-based scholarships are available for students requiring financial assistance.
Selected students will receive an email with details on how to apply, including the submission of proof of income for verification.
YCP 4.0 - Ignite Edition
YCP 4.0: The Ignite Edition was built around a simple belief: a good idea needs the right environment to grow. Students brought their own ideas to the table, worked across cultures, tackled case studies and were challenged to turn early sparks into more defined, mission-driven ventures.
It was an edition centred not just on having ideas, but on giving them the people, perspective and push they needed to take shape.
